A Photograph freezes an instant in time - even though that instant can last for ever and may have taken hours to see. It speaks louder than words and has a voice that's as soft as a whisper, or as stirring as a choir's.

A Photograph is personal. It's a private vision of the world than can be shared; visible to some but not to all. What is seen by the eye of the photographer, and captured by the lens, is timeless, sometimes controversial or even misunderstood. It aspires to be thought provoking - and that's what makes it so personal.

Ansel Adams said it best:

"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence".
